Legacy Village of Tifton Donates $500 to the Veterans Memorial Park for Third Consecutive Year

TIFTON, Ga. (May 17, 2018) – For the third consecutive year, Legacy Village of Tifton has donated $500 to the local Veterans Memorial Park.

The Veterans Memorial Park serves as a staple in downtown Tifton. It powerfully represents the great men and women who served our country.

Legacy Village of Tifton’s Executive Director Emily Leffew presented Jack Stone, head of the Veteran Park Fund, a check for $500 to benefit any repairs and new American flags for the Veterans Memorial Park.

“We wanted to show our support by giving this donation to enhance the Veteran’s Memorial Park, and honor those who committed their lives to the service of our Nation. The Veteran’s Memorial Park is a beautiful representation in our community of the profound commitment that these men and women made to guarantee our freedoms and liberties,” stated Leffew.
