TIFTON, Ga. (May 23, 2017) – For the second consecutive year, Legacy Village of Tifton has donated $500 to the local Veterans Memorial Park for the purchase of new American flags.

The Veterans Memorial Park serves as a staple in downtown Tifton. It powerfully represents the great men and women who served our country.

“Many of the flags in the Veterans Memorial Park have been frayed over the years, so we wanted to donate this money to benefit the purchase of new flags and flagpoles. We want the park to be a nice area to recognize our veterans,” Emily Leffew, executive director of Legacy Village of Tifton, said.

“Each day we get the opportunity to serve seniors in Tifton and many of our residents served and fought for our country. It’s an honor to donate to the Veteran’s Memorial Park fund and recognize our veterans for their hard work and dedication to this great country,” Bryan Cook, COO of Legacy Senior Living, management company of Legacy Village of Tifton, said.
