Southern Care Assisted Living Announces Name Change to Legacy Village of Tifton

TIFTON, Ga. (April 18, 2016) – Southern Care Assisted Living, which for many years has been home to numerous Tift County seniors, announced today that it is changing its name to Legacy Village of Tifton. The Tifton, GA assisted living community is part of a family of senior living communities that are owned and operated by Legacy Senior Living of Cleveland, Tenn.

“While we have always been thankful to utilize the Southern Care name, we saw it as our time to shift to a name that incorporates our Legacy Village branding. This will allow for better name recognition for our three facilities in South Georgia: Legacy Village at Park Regency in Moultrie, Legacy Village at Plantation Manor in Thomasville, and now Legacy Village of Tifton,” Barry Ray, president of Legacy Senior Living, said.

“As we undergo this name change, we will remain the same committed team to serving the Greatest Generation. We have a new name, but we are still the same great Southern Care,” Bryan Cook, Vice President of Operations, said.

The new website domain will be www.legacytifton.net and the new Facebook page will be Legacy Village of Tifton, effective beginning of April.

The principals of Legacy Senior Living purchased Southern Care in 2006. It was the first senior living building that Barry Ray and Bryan Cook, existing principals of Legacy Senior Living, purchased together.
